As we entered, we were greeted with a warm welcome and taken to our table. The staff were nice and approachable, and the atmosphere was decent. As for food, we ordered the Keema Aashaq and Veg Butter chicken, which in all honesty were a delight. Didn't get to try anything else at this time, but they have so many options and so much to choose from. For drinks, we had Jal jeera, which was a nice refreshing drink, and you would only like it if you like the water from pani puri. The only issue we had was the waiting time between ordering and food arriving. It took them a while to get the food out, but because the food was delicious, I could put the waiting time aside this time. We hope to be back soon and can't wait to try some other delicious dishes
The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious—every dish was full of flavor and clearly made with care. Unfortunately, the service was a big letdown. The staff seemed disorganized, didn’t smile, and looked completely lost most of the time. It really took away from what could have been an amazing dining experience. Great kitchen, but the front-of-house needs serious improvement.
We travel from Oxford to eat at Ritas as the food is so very good. So very fresh tasty and authentic every time. We always have a chaat big platter to start then a curry and rice and naan to share we have never had a cause to complain ever. We now bring family with us and they all say the same. We have nothing similar in Oxford so it is a real treat and many of our restaurants would not come any where near the quality of Ritas. We have three restaurant businesses in our family also so we do try lots of others !! The staff are lovely and know the menu very well we are an english family with no Indian roots so need some help often with items on the menu !!! The staff are very willing to explain and recommend. Prices are really reasonable and we love the laid back sort of cafe type atmosphere you can just turn up also. I love the decor but it's not the poshest place you could go in Southall but it's well worth a visit you will return many times. The naan breads and sauces are amazing everything you order seems to have been made with such care and nothing is similar or tastes like anything else you order. We love it well done Ritas
The food was average overall. The meat samosa was overly oily, and the bread was hard and dry. We ordered two different dishes to share, but the second dish arrived 15 minutes after the first one. The space felt disorganized, but the staff were friendly.
